Of course; but only for stuff that was non of their damn business anyway.Did I feel guilty?No, they were going too far.
But I did watch an elder lie bare faced to them,when I turned the bastard in...and he knew I heard...he got away with it of course; but hides from me in the street..I spend FOREVER trying to BUMP in to him to watch the squirm fest that follows!!!!!

someone replied to a post i entered and got me thinking what others perceive about us due to the nicks or id we have chosen.
some of the nicks i am sure are just self explanatory , others are cute, or simple.
although i suspect that very many in this room,took time to think of theirs and definitly the nick holds some little secret as to who they are as a person.

i was recently visited by a jw ( he is a really nice old chap who has his own doubts) and he said 'internet' more times than you would think possible in a fairly short conversation.
either he has been told something, or there have been extra warnings against the internet at circuit assembly, co talks etc.
does anyone know if there have been extra warnings just lately?
Last I heard the official WT site was ok 'if you HAVE to'but as for anything else...you'd get 'a chat'immediately; all the 'respected' ones make a point of having a computer but NO internet,a subtle test for the desperates longing to be more acceptable me thinks...They can parade their internet virginity with pride!

of course in britian we drink our pints down the pub.. i have to laught when i'm in europe as they only drink tiny glasses of beer , when you ask for their equivalent of a pint they look at you as if you are some nut case.. anyway i usually get through a couple of bottles of wine and several pints of larger a week.i drink most nights but not too much.. is it true that the legal age for alcohol is 21 in the states?.
i remember celabrating my baptism at 17 with a few pints in the pub.

my first reason is the fact that i was being controlled through the jw social structure, and having to fight to do anything....even whether to wear a tie or not.
the preoccupation with appearance was so debilitating; that was all i was ever concerned with.
and, as i'm not attractive, good in sports, or a conformist, i had very few friends.

Thought i'd get into the beer/lager making again;I made 40 (German pilsner )pints @13p per pint-good eh?!Not really;just noticed yesterday the barrel's been slowly leaking-i've had 20 pints seeping from my airing cupboard upstairs .
through to the sitting room ceiling!

My sons' OBSESSION with the game means I have no choice...I prefer rugby; but I do find myself getting sucked in now,especially these African teams,they're amazingly fast compared to us ,i'm ashamed to say-brilliant.I'm such a mixed bag;nationally wise,but I think i'm going for England;i'll get lynched otherwise..will svens' mind be focussed we wonder?I think he'll be able to seperate his private life from the cup;UP THE ENGLISH!
